Get started
Start from a template
Use a template for a question you ask often, fill its blanks by hand or with AI, and make templates of your own.
Steps
- In the Library, choose Templates.
- Find a built-in template, one your organization added or one of your own, and choose Use template.
- Fill in each blank. Or say in a few words what you want and choose Fill with AI. The AI fills the blanks you left empty and keeps the ones you typed.
- Choose Fill the form. The template writes the question, its description and how it resolves.
- Check the form, change anything you like and choose Create question.
- To turn a question into a template, open More actions on the question and choose Save as template.
- To make a template from scratch, choose Add template on the Templates page. Write the question with a word in curly braces for each blank, such as {company}, give each blank a label and choose Add template.
- In Discover, pick a template under Question template, and every question Discover suggests follows it.
Good to know
- A template can also hold notes, files, tags, guidance for the AI and a forecast preset. A question made from it gets them all.
- A question keeps everything it got from its template. Changing or deleting the template later does not change the question.
- Organization admins add organization templates, which every member can use.
- Anyone who can read a question made from a template can read the notes and files it got from the template.
- Filling blanks with AI costs no credits.
