Keep forecasts current
Rerun automatically
Let Prolepsia start a new forecast when news would move the answer.
Steps
- Open the question and choose More actions, then Forecast schedule.
- Find Rerun automatically when new information arrives.
- Turn on Rerun when new information would meaningfully change the answer.
- Set how big a change should start a new forecast.
- Choose Save auto-rerun settings.
Good to know
- Prolepsia checks for new information on a schedule and estimates how far it would move the forecast.
- Automatic reruns cost a monthly fee for each question, and each rerun costs the price of its run mode. The panel shows both prices.
- Forecasts that an automatic rerun starts are labelled Auto-rerun.
