# Turn a topic into questions

> Describe what you want to know, pick the questions you like, check them and forecast them all at once.

## Steps

1. Choose Discover in the top bar.
2. Describe a topic in a few words, paste an article or attach a document. You can also start from an example or an idea from the news.
3. Send it. The suggested questions appear beside the chat, each with the source that will settle it.
4. Reply in the chat to change the set. To change one question, choose Reword. To hide one, choose Not useful from its menu.
5. Pick the questions you want with their checkboxes, then choose Continue.
6. On Check and start, Prolepsia prepares each question in the background: its description, how it resolves and its fine print.
7. Open each question that needs your check. Keep or change each assumption, and use Edit to change any part.
8. Pick a run mode and choose Start to create the questions and start their forecasts. Save questions creates them without forecasts.
9. When it is done, open a question to follow its forecast, or choose Discover more.

## Good to know

- Suggesting and preparing questions costs no credits. Forecasts do.
- Start stays off until every question is prepared and every assumption is confirmed.
- The settings under the list, such as Email me when a question resolves, apply to every question in the set.
- To make every suggested question follow one shape, pick a template under Question template before you send.

## What the video says

Discover turns a topic into questions you can forecast. Use it when you know the area you care about, but not yet the exact question. Describe a topic in a few words, paste an article, or attach a document. You can also start from an example, or from an idea in the news. Send it. The chat stays on the left, and the suggested questions appear on the right. Suggesting questions costs no credits. Each card shows the question type, the possible answers, why the question matters, and the source that will settle it. To change one question, choose Reword and say what you want. Only that question changes. If a question is not useful, hide it from the menu. You can undo that right away. Pick the questions you want with their checkboxes, then choose Continue. On the second page, Prolepsia prepares every question in the background. It writes a description, how the question resolves, and the fine print. The list shows which questions are ready and which need your check. Open one to read it. Each part has an Edit button if you want to change it. Where Prolepsia had to assume something, it asks you to confirm. Keep the assumption, or say what should change. Further down, you can add notes and files for the forecasts, or ask the AI to change the question in your own words. Settings under the list apply to every question. Pick a run mode, and the footer shows what the forecasts cost. Choose Start to create the questions and start a forecast for each one. Or save them now, and start the forecasts later. When it is done, open a question to follow its forecast, or go back and discover more.
