# Prolepsia developer docs

> Prolepsia makes calibrated forecasts with sources. Use its REST API, signed webhooks and MCP server from your own code and AI agents.

Forecasts run in the background and usually take 35 to 60 minutes. Start one, keep its task id, then poll it or wait for a webhook.
