## Steps

1. Open Settings and choose API and AI clients.
2. In the MCP server card, choose Copy URL.
3. In ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity, add Prolepsia as a connector with that address. Log in to Prolepsia and approve access when asked.
4. For Claude Code, Cursor, Codex and similar tools, create an API key, pick your tool under Developer clients and choose Copy snippet.
5. Optionally, install the agent skill with Copy install command.
6. Ask your assistant for a forecast in plain words. It writes the question, starts the forecast and checks back for the result.
7. To remove access, choose Disconnect under Connected AI clients.

## Good to know

- With a connector you never paste a key into the assistant.
- A forecast keeps running after the assistant's short wait ends, so you can ask about it later.

## What the video says

Prolepsia also works inside AI assistants such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor, through its MCP server. Open Settings, then API and AI clients. The MCP server card shows the server address. Copy it with Copy URL. In ChatGPT, Claude or Perplexity, add Prolepsia as a connector with this address. You log in to Prolepsia and approve access. You never paste a key into the assistant. Developer tools such as Claude Code, Cursor and Codex use an API key instead. Pick your tool, and copy the snippet that is ready to paste. Then simply ask your assistant. For example: forecast whether the European Central Bank cuts rates before March. It writes the question, starts the forecast, and checks back for the result. The optional agent skill teaches your assistant how to use Prolepsia well. Copy the install command for your tool. Every AI client you connect appears under Connected AI clients, and you can disconnect it at any time.
